Remove Baby Oil Stains in Clothes - Scrape off any remaining baby oil from the garment using a spoon. Use a paper towel to blot the stain until the all of the baby oil comes off on the towel.

Sprinkle baby powder on the stain and leave it on the stain for 10 minutes. Remove the baby powder by scrubbing it with a nailbrush. The baby power will absorb some of the stain.

Place two drops of dishwashing liquid on the baby oil stain and rub the liquid in with the nailbrush. Rub the stain in a circular motion on both sides of the fabric. Let the dishwashing liquid set for 15 minutes.

Wash the clothing item in laundry detergent and hot water, or according to the instructions on the garment's tag. Repeat the process if some of the stain remains.



Baby oil is commonly used to heal diaper rashes on infants, as well as alleviate mild eczema and dry skin on adults. Unfortunately, baby oil can easily get on clothing, leaving unsightly stains.
