Make Baby Sock Corsage

Make Baby Sock Corsage - Lay a baby sock on a table. Roll it tightly starting at the toe and working toward the top of the sock. Hold the "rosebud" together with a piece of double-sided tape. Fold the bottom of the sock up so two flaps are revealed that look like a petal's edges. Repeat this with all your baby socks.

Cut a piece of floral wire for each rosebud sock you make. These can be as long as you want, depending on how large you would like the corsage to be. Poke the wire into the bottom of the rosebud sock.

Wrap the bottom of the rosebud sock with floral tape. Continue wrapping the tape down the wire to secure it. Repeat this with all your rosebud socks.

Cut some silk flowers and leaves for filler. Arrange these with the rosebud socks of wires. Cut all the ends so they are identical lengths.

Wrap floral tape around all the stems from the bottom of the flowers to the bottom of the wires. They should form one large stem when taped together.

Baby sock corsages are cute decorative items to make for a mom-to-be to wear at her baby shower. Corsages can also be made for the grandmas-to-be so they are distinctive and stand out. These corsages are not only adorable but also functional, as the mom can wash and use the socks for her little one. Does this Spark an idea? - by eHow
