Place baby on her back on the floor. Move to her head, leaning over her and gently placing her head between your knees. If necessary, lightly squeeze to keep her head from wiggling or moving too much.

Rest your index finger below the baby's eyelid, placing your thumb on his forehead. Gently pull down the lower lid, making it form a V.

Hold the dropper or bottle of eyedrops a few inches above her eye, aim, and squirt. Keep your hand steady. Know that the medication will be absorbed right away, so if she blinks out the drops, it's okay.

Putting eye drops in a wiggly baby's eye can be difficult, but sometimes, it's a must in order to help baby feel better. Learn the best way to give a baby eye drops. - by eHow
