Dry your feet well with a clean dry towel.

Sprinkle a liberal amount of baby powder on your hand, then rub it along the entire area of your foot, including the tops, bottom, heel and arch. Also be sure to apply powder, by rubbing it in with your fingers, between your toes.

Place dry socks on your feet, or simply allow them to air dry.

Your feet have the job of supporting your body weight and getting you around when you walk. If your feet are frequently wet either from working around water or excessive sweat, you could develop blisters or a condition known as immersion foot. Immersion foot was known as trench foot in World War I, because the soldiers who fought in trenches seldom were able to ever completely dry their feet. Applying baby powder on your feet can help immersion foot, blisters or other foot irritations. - by eHow
