Guess a Baby's Gender

Guess a Baby's Gender - Consider the frequency of morning sickness. If you avoided early morning sickness, it is said that you are carrying a boy. Morning sickness throughout the pregnancy indicates a girl.

Keep track of the baby's heartbeat. A slower heart rate measured in utero is said to belong to a boy. A heart rate that is faster than 140 beats per minute means a girl.

Look at the way that you are carrying. This is a common way that women guess a baby's gender. A woman that is carrying high is having a girl while low represents a boy.

Pay close attention to your cravings. If you are eating sweets, then a girl is on the way. Women carrying boys want foods that are sour or salty.

Judge your appearance. One tale states that if you are carrying a girl, she will steal some of your beauty away. Women that are pregnant with boys look radiant and healthier than they have ever been.

There is no exact way to find out a baby's gender without the use of an ultrasound or DNA testing. However, many expectant women look to old wives' tales in order to guess their baby's gender. These are some fun ways you can guess a baby's sex without the use of medical equipment. - by eHow
