Make a Wrap for Baby Wearing - Measure your fabric. Lay the tape measure on a flat surface. Line the end of the fabric up with the end of the tape measure. Unwind the fabric until it reaches the 1 yard (36") mark, fold it back. Repeat this process until you've measured the appropriate amount of fabric [see Tips].

Cut the excess fabric. Once you have the right amount measured, fold the fabric over once more and cut along the fold line.

Save the excess fabric. Even if you have a small amount, you can use it for a receiving blanket, quilt or some other sewing project.

Lay the fabric flat on the table. Identify the fold line from the bolt. This point is more or less the exact center of the fabric. Carefully cut straight down this line.

Fold the two pieces. Now you have two wraps that are of nearly identical size.
